FORM MATTERS​

​​This fall the Morgan Conservatory presents a group exhibition titled “Form Matters.” This show features 2024 Morgan Artist-in-Residence recipients and artists from the region as they examine the element of form in papermaking, printmaking, and book arts. Through form and expressive paper media, the artists are able to capture fleeting moments of the human experience. 

Featured Artists: Lari Gibbons, Alexis Granwell, Bob Herbst, Jeanetta Ho, Amelia McDonnell, Isabella Myers, Jen Scheuer and Jerry Smith

Paper is Fashion

Last year I made a dress out of paper.

I’m doing it again this year. 

Why??? 

Last year I walked down the runway like an ethereal bridal moth. I was delighted by the gasps of wonder towards a project I let devour my soul for three months. It was a night where many respected my work, and my fiance finally understood the respect I garner in my niche...
